15th Annual Day Seminar on Responsible Mining & Worker Welfare

MLPC, in collaboration with MEAI Jaipur Chapter, Rajasthan, hosted a seminar on February 13 to mark its 15th Annual Day. The event emphasized the importance of bringing workers under the framework of Environmental Clearance (EC) compliance and responsible mining, covering key aspects such as Vocational Training (VT), Occupational Health and Safety (OHS), and alternative livelihoods. A crucial discussion point was the need for every worker to have a Labour Identification Number (LIN) to ensure better regulation and welfare. The seminar was graced by esteemed dignitaries, including Chief Guest Mr. Pawan Arora, CEO of First India News, and Keynote Speaker Mr. Lalit Soni, Chairman of MEAI, who shared valuable insights on sustainable and ethical mining practices.
